Meeting to discuss tariff on repair and maintenance of Government vessels

Menara Boustead, KL

28 July 2017

AMIM held a meeting among selected members of the association to discuss tariff on the repair and maintenance of Government vessels at Menara Boustead, Kuala Lumpur on 28 July 2017.

The meeting was chaired by AMIM Honorary Secretary, Nazery Khalid and was attended by representatives from MFDM Group of Companies, Limbungan Batu Maung, Grade One Marine and Boustead Naval Shipyard.  The companies are contractors for the repair and maintenance of several Government agencies such as Royal Malaysian Navy, Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency and Marine Police.

The topic is an important one for AMIM members on whom rest the responsibility of ensuring Government vessels are in tip-top condition to effectively undertake and fulfil the roles assigned to them.

As the national focal point for Malaysia’s marine industries, AMIM is always at the forefront to provide a platform for members to discuss issues affecting them and developments of interest to the industry.
